Bo Bae-song - out in front

Bo Bae-song shot a seven-under 65 to move into a one-stroke lead after the second round of the Mizuno Classic.

The South Korean enjoyed a fine run on the front nine as she reeled off six birdies without dropping a shot to reach the turn in an impressive six-under 30.

Bo bogeyed the par-five 13th but birdies on the 15th and 18th ensured she will take a narrow advantage heading into the final round with a two-day total of 11 under, 133.

Compatriot Kim In-kyung and Akane Iijima, of Japan, returned to the clubhouse with a 65 and 64 respectively and are in a share of second place, while Rui Kitada is fourth after carding a six-under 66.

Overnight leader Brittany Lang dropped into a group of eight players tied fifth following a two-under 70, while world number one Lorena Ochoa improved to four under for the tournament following a three-under 69.
