New Ping putter a winner

Miguel Angel Jimenez's third victory of the year at the Omega European Masters was crafted with Ping's newest putter.
Indeed the Spanish veteran, One of Ping's staff professionals, made some history with the putter, a Scottsdale Pickmeup. It was the flat-stick's first worldwide win.
Jimenez had used it for the first time a week earlier in the Johnnnie Walker championship in Scotland when his tie for third was enough to wrap up his place in this year's Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor.
In Switzerland last week he posted a career-best, course-record 61 in the second round to surge into a lead he would never lose, finishing the four rounds in an impressive 21-under-par,
It was his third win on the European Tour and his third straight top 10 finish and moved him to eighth place in the Race to Dubai standings.
In addition to winning with the new Scottsdale Pickmeup putter, Jimenez was also the first PING staff player to win with their new S56 irons and new Tour-S wedges when he captured the Alstom Open de France.
It was his first event in which he had played with the new blade-style irons. He also switched to the award-winning G15 driver in France, but the new specialty wedges had been added to his bag the week before at the US Open.
"I have great trust in the PING team to provide me with the best products in the world," said 18-time Tour winner Jimenez this week,
"And I'm honoured to be the first to win with three new products, but I know there will be many more victories for the PING staff around the world."
"Miguel's play this year has been phenomenal," said John Solheim, PING Chairman & CEO.
"Three wins and a fourth Ryder Cup appearance makes for an amazing season. To be the first to win with three different new products brings us even greater satisfaction."
NOTE: For the week in the Swiss Alps, Jimenez played with a G15 driver, with TiSI Tec 3, 5 and 7 fairway woods, an S56 irons (4-PW) set, Tour-S wedges (52 and 60 degree) and the new Scottsdale Pickemup putter.
